Positive Education
Positive Education
Positive Psychology studies the science of what is right with you; how you can recognise this in yourself and others; and how we can strengthen and celebrate the many positive aspects of life, self and community. Positive Education infuses our best practice teaching with the science of positive psychology to encourage our students and staff to 'feel good and do good' – for yourself, others and the world. We teach our students specific skills to enhance their personal resilience and promote a growth mindset following the PERMAH Model. Through teaching these valuable life skills, Geelong High School provides its students with an increased capacity to learn effectively, as well as offering them a strong foundation on which they can build a successful life.
