Volunteers

Geelong High School has a proud tradition of linking with community volunteers to improve the learning and personal growth of students both in and out of the classroom. Every week around thirty members of the local community volunteer their time at our school and interact with students. Volunteers assist GHS students with literacy, numeracy, personal mentoring, camps and as guest speakers.

The school has a strong relationship with Geelong Connect which facilitates the placement of volunteers in organisations such as schools. We are proud to have such a strong relationship with volunteers and are continually striving to further build these links to members of our local community.

Becoming a Volunteer
