What to expect - Year 7 2025 Enrolments
Our open night for 2025 Year 7 enrolments is an informative evening designed to give you and insight into a student's life at Geelong High School.
There will be a presentation in the CA Love Hall followed by a tour of the school.

Geelong High School follows the DET policies and Guidelines in regard to the enrolment of students.

Government Schools
Year 6 students at Government primary schools will receive the Application for Year 7 Placement 2025 form via their primary school in early Term 2
Applications from year six students in Government primary schools are to be returned to the primary school by Friday 10 May 2024.
Non-Government Schools (Catholic or Independent)
Families of year 6 students in Non-Government Schools may contact us on email: geelong.hs@education.vic.gov.au or phone: 03 5225 4100 to obtain a copy of the Application for Year 7 Placement 2025 form, if their child's non-government school is not supporting the State-wide Transition Application process.
Applications for students from non-government schools are to be submitted directly to Geelong High School by Friday 24 May 2024.
Years 8 - 12 Enrolments - 2024 & 2025
Enquiries regarding enrolments at other year levels and during the school year are to be directed to the Assistant Principal – Wellbeing, Engagement and Environment.

Our school follows the Department of Education’s Enrolment Policy for the enrolment, placement, and transfer of students.
Students who live within the school zone are guaranteed a place at our school. To find out whether you live in zone, visit findmyschool.vic.gov.au.
All other applications will be considered subject to available space, and prioritised according to:
- students with a sibling at the same permanent address who are attending the school at the same time.
- all other students in order of closeness of their home to the school.
